Thaleus.Net - Indians Baseball 2006

News

Current Record: 78-84 - Total Runs: 870-782

AL Central Standings
Team W/L GB
Minnesota Twins 96-66 --
Detroit Tigers 95-67 1.0
Chicago White Sox 90-72 6.0
Cleveland Indians 78-84 18.0
Kansas City Royals 62-100 34.0

October 1, 2006 - Cliff Lee pitched a complete game for the final game of the year, and he finishes 14-11. Cleveland beat Tampa Bay today, 6-3, and wound up winning 8 of their last 9 games. Very impressive. I look forward to a productive 2007.

September 30, 2006 - Jake Westbrook allowed only 1 run in 7 innings of work, and the Indians handed the Devil Rays their 100th loss of the season, 6-1. Nice to see them win their last 3 series of the disappointing season.

September 29, 2006 - Johnny Peralta delivered a game winning double, as the Indians beat the Devil Rays 2-1 tonight. Nice to see the pitching hold up.

September 28, 2006 - Paul Byrd finally got a win in September, and has a 10-9 record. Ryan Garko doubled in the winning run, in a 3 run seventh. Cleveland wins, and I'm happy. I think it's possible we may get 77 wins. That'd be good.

September 27, 2006 - Fausto Carmona pitched a good solid game, but the Indians provided him with no run support, and the Indians fell 2-1 to the White Sox. Atleast they're sitting out the playoffs too.

September 26, 2006 - C.C.Sabathia pitched a masterpiece in his final start of the year. He hurled 11 strikeouts over 8 innings. He finished the season with a 3.22 ERA. There are hopes on the Indians team. I'd say number one is the bullpen. If they don't get a good bullpen going, they won't make it anywhere.

September 25, 2006 - Cleveland tied a major league record with 14 grand slams this season. Travis Hafner had 6, tying Don Mattingly's major league record. Cleveland also worked to avenge a very moronic manager in Ozzie Guillen, when last season he kept us out of the playoffs, and showed he has no class by showing a choke hold. This is especially gratifying, as we have now kept them mathematically out of the post season.

September 24, 2006 - Grady Sizemore shined today as he hit his mlb leading 90th extra base hit. Wonderful. Indians win 11-6.

September 23, 2006 - Peralta did something right, and drove in 3 runs as the Indians beat the Rangers 6-3.

September 22, 2006 - The Rangers battered the Indians tonight, and naturally we look flat, as has been all season long.

September 21, 2006 - The A's pitched well, and the Indians lost 7-4. We're just going through the motions.

September 20, 2006 - Cleveland lost this one in the 7th inning to Milton Bradley. These games mean very little anyhow, this season has been a wash since May.

September 19, 2006 - Cleveland lost their 80th game tonight. A grand slam by the A's put this one away. We're down to 12 games left, I'd say the Indians won't get to .500 this year. I predict 5 more victories before the end of the year.

September 18, 2006 - A seemingly easy victory over Oakland, 7-2. Victor Martinez, and Hector Luna provided the bulk of the offense.

September 17, 2006 - Cleveland hasn't played worth squat since losing Travis Hafner for the season, and today was another fine example.

September 16, 2006 - C.C.Sabathia pitched a decent game, but Minnesota is hungry for October baseball, so they're playing that way. I, for one, am looking forward to the postseason. I know the Indians won't be there, but I truly love baseball, so I love October baseball.

September 15, 2006 - Ryan Garko delivered the game winning hit, and the Indians have 69 victories on the season.

September 14, 2006 - You could say our bull pen let us down in this one, but the Indians are just trudging along to the end of the season. Boy I hope they do something someday.

September 13, 2006 - No offense, and thus we lose. Not too many games left now. We may end .500, but I doubt it.

September 12, 2006 - Well folks, when you only score 3 runs, you usually lose. Kansas City won at the Jake for the first time in 8 games. Jeremy Sowers was good, but not great.

September 10, 2006 - C.C.Sabathia pitched masterfully, and the Indians won 5-2. Chicago is now 1.5 games back in the AL wildcard race, and I'd love to see us STOP them from getting into the playoffs on the next series. This time here in Cleveland, 25-27.

September 9, 2006 - I'd love to say I saw any of the game, but sorry folks, I love the Buckeyes, and saw that game instead. The Indians lost to Chicago, what more can you say? It's a lame season.

September 8, 2006 - Cleveland blew a save tonight, they should have won this game. A.J.Pyrzinski hit a 2 run dinger in the bottom of the 9th.

September 7, 2006 - The offense performed, and Cliff Lee pitched six strong innings. The bullpen held too. 9-1 Cleveland wins. They've won 13 of 18 now.

September 6, 2006 - Jake Westbrook threw a decent game, albeit in his usual hit riddled style. Cleveland did nothing at bat, and thus they fell. Nice showing by the bullpen.

September 5, 2006 - Andy Marte's 8th inning grand slam gave Cleveland the victory tonight, and Jeremy Sowers pitched another good game.

September 4, 2006 - Minnesota's closer is getting his work this season, and saved this game. Cleveland loses 4-3.

September 3, 2006 - In his return to Cleveland, Kevin Millwood pitched a great game, and the Indians lost 2-5. I know it would have been expensive, but I would have loved to have seen the Indians sign him to a long contract. Millwood, will be a premier pitcher for quite some time.

September 2, 2006 - On his first major league pitch, Kevin Kouzmanoff hit a grand slam, powering the Indians to their fifth straight victory. Now we're finally back near .500, 4 off the mark.

September 1, 2006 - Even though we had a scare with Hafner, the Indians won their fourth straight, 7-2. They just might get back to .500. I'll be watching, obviously.

August 30, 2006 - Cleveland completed the month with a victory over Toronto 3-2. Fabulous, 18 victories.

August 29, 2006 - C.C.Sabathia pitched his major league leading 5th complete game, and Travis Hafner hit his 40th homer of the season, and the Indians won yet again. We're at 16 victories in August, and there is 1 game left.

August 28, 2006 - Thanks to Grady Sizemore, the Indians prevailed in this one 6-4. He had a heck of a game. And the Indians have now won in August more games than in any other month of the season.

August 27, 2006 - No offense, and thus the 69th loss of the season. This season has been a horrible disappointment. I thought all sorts of things about how they'd fare, but I never dreamed we'd be here in August, 9 games under .500, and 21 games out. You never really know what to expect of the Indians.

August 26, 2006 - I don't get it, you never know what to expect from the Indians this season. Now they've beaten Detroit twice in a row, and won 4 straight. Nice to see the youth playing well. I hope Cleveland will be a better team for it.

August 25, 2006 - Jeremy Sowers yet again pitched well, and the Indians beat the suddenly troubled Tigers 4-2. The Indians during August have been a pretty decent team going 13-9. Cleveland hasn't won more than 13 games in a month all season, and we have 5 to play.

August 24, 2006 - C.C.Sabathia pitched well, and the Indians won the game 8-4. Once again the offense proved big.

August 23, 2006 - Unbelievable!!! That's about all you can say. The Indians were down 1-10 in the first inning, and came back to win 15-13 in the 10th inning. What a ride this is this year.

August 22, 2006 - The Indians let another one slip by. Oh well, it's not like we're doing anything this year anyhow. Just play our young guys, and let them pick up experience.

August 20, 2006 - Peralta hit a grand slam, after an intentional walk to Hafner, and Cleveland lit up the score board as Tampa Bay picked the wrong guy to pitch to.

August 19, 2006 - Cleveland has actually played for the past few weeks as if they're a team that's near to being a competitor, you couldn't say that in June, or July.

August 18, 2006 - Cleveland lost another heartbreaker. Woe is life for the Cleveland sports fan.

August 17, 2006 - Paul Byrd pitched a fabulous game, getting a complete game. The Indians won for once.

August 16, 2006 - Our bullpen let us down this time, and the Indians keep on losing, but atleast this is some improvement.

August 15, 2006 - Well, Jake Westbrook pitched quite well, but the Indians lost anyhow, 4-1. Next...

August 13, 2006 - Hafner tied Mattingly's single season grand slam record with 6. The Indians had an 11 run first inning, and rolled easily. Sowers again pitches masterfully, and the Indians put together their first 6 game winning streak since the first streak of the season in April. Good lord.

August 12, 2006 - Travis Hafner singled in the winning run, and the Indians got yet another 1-run victory. If they work hard, they may avoid the 100 loss season. They had a winning week for the first time since the first week of July. In the second game of the double header, Hafner again proved important. Indians sweep with 6-5 score.

August 11, 2006 - Grady Sizemore delivered a bases loaded triple in the 9th, for a 1 run victory for the hapless Indians. 3 wins in a row, unbelievable.

August 10, 2006 - Cleveland laid a heck of a butt whoopin' on the Angels last night. The offense really rolled.

August 9, 2006 - Jake Westbrook hurled a shutout. Nice to see this. The Indians starting rotation actually hasn't been bad this season, the bull pen has really let us down though.

August 8, 2006 - Yet another 1-run loss. The 6th one since July 30. I'm looking forward to the postseason, I want this season over with for Cleveland.

August 6, 2006 - A 1-0 shutout. This season is very painful to watch, but just like a good car wreck, you just have to keep staring. Perhaps at some point the Indians will actually put it all together. Just not this year.

August 5, 2006 - Another loss, this one in the 9th inning. The Indians looked good through most of the game, but lost yet again.

August 4, 2006 - Another loss. Cleveland sucks this season big time.

August 3, 2006 - Cleveland managed to save one this time, and won the game 7-6. Hafner homered, and the Indians look like they may not quite lose 100 games, but who knows?

August 2, 2006 - Fausto blew another save, and the Indians lost in the 9th, 5-6. Another loss...

August 1, 2006 - They tried to give it away again, but got the win. Indians over the Red Sox in Boston 6-3. C.C.Sabathia pitched an amazingly good game, going 7.2 innings and giving up only 1 run.

July 31, 2006 - Fausto Carmona served one up for David Ortiz, and Cleveland lost 8-9. Hope Wedge is right, and this kid really can be a closer. Hard to say.

July 30, 2006 - 3-7, Ronnie Belliard is traded for Hector Luna, and we lose in the 9th for the 58th loss of the season. With 59 games left to play, I predict we finish with about 99 losses on the season. Let's see if I'm right.

July 29, 2006 - 3-1, they had no offense, and Ben Brousard homered against us. Either way, yet another loss.

July 28, 2006 - A 1-0 shutout. Amazing. Jeremy Sowers threw his second consecutive shutout, the first Indians rookie to do that since Dick Tidrow in 1972. Cleveland's newest acquisition provided the only run of the game, Shin-sin Choo. Nice start, now let's see what else these 2 can do.

July 26, 2006 - Once again Cleveland finds itself on the losing end of the battle, though Brousard won't be around to see it, because Cleveland traded him to Seattle today. I expect he won't be in baseball after next season.

July 25, 2006 - Cleveland beat up on Kenny Rogers tonight, and then hung on to beat Detroit 12-7. It's nice to see them once in a while.

July 24, 2006 - Another loss, and the season just keeps on rolling on. They could have won, but defense, and pitching killed them. This team really needs to get better up the middle.

July 23, 2006 - Cleveland broke their backs swinging at air today, as the Twins racked up 17 K's. Ridiculous. Another series lost. All I can say is I hope next year goes better.

July 22, 2006 - And a serious shelaq'ing. 11-0 they beat the Twins bad. When they look good, they look really good, when they look bad, they look really bad.

July 21, 2006 - Another loss. This time, the Twins beat up the Indians 14-6. Pitching? We have none. Hitting? Not bad, but not enough. Defense? What defense? Outlook? 90 loss season?

July 19, 2006 - Finally, a victory. Unbelievable. Don't know what to say. The Indians have only won 3 of their last 12 games. How much more mediocre can this get?

July 18, 2006 - Another loss, and the season rolls on. The Indians are just going through the motions this year, and in Cleveland, we have to wait yet another year. No Cleveland team has won the sausage since 1964.

July 17, 2006 - In a total butt whoopin', the Indians fell to the Angels 10-5. What else can I say? I've said it all plenty by now, and the season just rolls on.

July 16, 2006 - How many different ways can you lose ballgames? Well, they've lost 5 of their last 6. They're not even going to try this year.

July 15, 2006 - Cleveland has now lost 6 of their last 8, what a season this is. Do you think they'll ever show signs of life?

July 14, 2006 - Tough loss, 10th inning. We get to watch our team languish in a very tough AL Central.

July 13, 2006 - Cliff Lee pitched very well through 4 innings, and got the win. It's nice to see them win, even if it doesn't really mean anything now.

July 9, 2006 - How many different ways can you blow a ball game in a season? The Indians are putting on quite a school in that subject.

July 8, 2006 - What can you say? They're past half way there, and they're not even a .500 team.

July 7, 2006 - C.C.Sabathia threw his 4th career shutout, and Travis Hafner became the first player in major league history to hit 5 grand slams before the All-Star break. Wow!

July 6, 2006 - The Indians haven't won a regular season series against the Yankees since 1992, and evidently that is to continue. This season is virtually a wash.

July 5, 2006 - Paul Byrd didn't pitch very well, and the Indians were beaten soundly 11-3 by the Yankees.

July 4, 2006 - WOW!!! What else can you say? The Indians had their biggest win at home since 1950, with a 19-1 rout of the hated Yankees. Unbelievable!!!

July 3, 2006 - The Indians are already having a better July than they did June. Jeremy Sowers got his first major league victory, keeping the Yankees scoreless through 6 innings. Nice to see them string a few together like this.

July 2, 2006 - C.C.Sabathia won another game. Aaron Boone was the hero of the game, and the Indians win 2 in a row again.

July 1, 2006 - Travis Hafner had a pinch hit grand slam, and the Indians won, giving Cliff Lee a win. Cliff Lee is unbeaten since May 29.

June 30, 2006 - The Indians snatched defeat from the jaws of victory tonight, giving up 9 runs in the last 2 innings. It's soooo painful to watch this.

June 28, 2006 - As Mike Hegan said at the end of the game, "The Indians gift wrapped this one for them." Some unknown catcher, makes an error, Wicky blows the save, what else can I say?

June 27, 2006 - For the first time since the beginning of June, the Indians won 2 in a row. C.C.Sabathia pitched 8 strong innings to get the win.

June 26, 2006 - For the first time in the last 10 series, the Indians won the series opener. Cliff Lee pitched well enough to earn his 7th victory. Pronk hit 2 homers, it was a good game for him.

June 25, 2006 - Another loss, and they just keep piling up. Great...

June 24, 2006 - Another shutout, this time the right way. Good, let's see if they can manage yet 1 more victory in June.

June 23, 2006 - A shutout. This season just keeps getting better, and better.

June 21, 2006 - Another loss... What else can I say?

June 20, 2006 - Well, they won one, I'm amazed. They say they have time left, and they do, but only if they win out more or less the whole season. 15 games back in the AL Central is a lot of ground to make up. How about just catching Minnesota first?

June 19, 2006 - Another loss, I'm sooooo shocked! Time to rebuild again?

June 18, 2006 - This gets more and more painful to do every day. I'm just so tired of watching the Indians lose, again and again. It's VERY frustrating!!! 6 games under .500. What happened to our promising team?

June 17, 2006 - Bob Wickman let this one get away, though honestly the Indians should have scored more than 2. The offense has been anemic lately.

June 16, 2006 - Good grief already. Another loss piles on. Sabathia (0-2 6.88 ERA) since June 1st, says, "There's still time." Let's hope he's right, but it sure doesn't look good. Another year?

June 15, 2006 - WooHoo... They won one. Amazing! Maybe they can win another before the end of June?

June 14, 2006 - No offense, and the Indians lose yet again!

June 13, 2006 - A pitchers' duel, and the Indians lost. But, only by 1 point... woohoo!

June 11, 2006 - The bull pen tried hard to lose this game for us, giving up 6 runs in the bottom of the 9th. The Indians scored enough runs that they still won. 9 games back in the central.

June 10, 2006 - Again the bull pen let us down. No team who can't hold a lead is ever going to advance.

June 9, 2006 - Wrong reliever. Cliff Lee walked Thome, and the Indians brought in the wrong guy, and it cost them the game.

June 8, 2006 - Again with no offense. I get to watch this team follow the season on a path to an 81-81 record. Alright Tribe!

June 7, 2006 - Paul Byrd got his first victory in a month tonight. Aaron Boone had a 3 run dinger. They won easily, the bull pen did it's job!

June 6, 2006 - Tough game, and another loss. The Indians are obviously not a very good team this year. Is this the beginning of another 30 years of being a joke in baseball?

June 4, 2006 - No pitching in this series at all. The Indians fell to the Angels tonight 14-2, it was a serious drubbing. Still only doing .500 ball overall, if not a little lower. However, most of the AL Central also lost today.

June 3, 2006 - Once again, another thumpin', this time the Indians thumped LA. Next...

June 2, 2006 - Now that's a thumpin'. The Indians fell tonight badly. Next...

June 1, 2006 = What a battle. A see-saw battle the whole game, till Ronnie Belliard hit a 3 run homer. It was nice to see them beat Chicago 3 out of 4, but this is only a start, they're still 7.5 games back.

May 31, 2006 - All other things aside, seeing the Indians blank the Sox is well worth it. Very good!!! End of May, and we're still a .500 team. This team had better do something impressive if they hope to even smell October baseball!

May 30, 2006 - Well, C.C. Sabathia seems to be the Indian's ace without a doubt. He's 5-1, and you gotta wish he pitched more often somehow. If the Indian's starting pitcher goes 6 or more innings, the Indians are 21-10 this season. Clearly our rotation needs improvement.

May 29, 2006 - And, here's what it looks like when the Indians don't even show up to play. These guys suck!

May 28, 2006 - It looks so easy when it's done right, and so bad when done wrong.

May 27, 2006 - Well, we only gave up 3 runs, but only scored 1... Yet another loss. This team is clearly a .500 team, and no better, if that good.

May 26, 2006 - Bad pitching, no offense, ugly night. These games are getting important, to quote a famour baseball man, "It's getting late in the season early!"

May 24, 2006 - C.C. Sabathia pitches a complete game shutout!!! He looks more and more like an ace with each start. 1 ace won't help though, we need atleast 3 members of the starting rotation to get consistent, if not HOT! What can you say about Casey Blake? 2 HR's, and either is leading the majors in average, or near the top.

May 23, 2006 - All I can say is in games where you score 5 runs off of Santana you should always win. Cliff Lee isn't looking good, nor is the starting rotation particularly consistent. This season is slipping by quickly. The Tigers are 9 games in front of us now, and it's going to take a monumental come back to get back into the race in the AL Central. Who knows?

May 21, 2006 - And, then sometimes they win, and I'm happy.

May 20, 2006 - What can I say? I hate it when they lose!!!

May 19, 2006 - Again the bull pen comes up big. The Indians win their 4th in a row.

May 18, 2006 - The bull pen has really done the job the last few games, and this one was no exception. They hang on to win the game 6-5. Nice to see them put a few wins together.

May 17, 2006 - Great pitching created this victory. Hafner hit a grand slam. That's 2 this season.

May 16, 2006 - Travis Hafner hits a walk-off homer to win the game 6-4. Finally, the Indians win one. Thank god... Let's hope they get moving.

May 15, 2006 - Game was postponed, let's hope that helps us.

May 14, 2006 - Well, let's see... We got swept by the Royals, who are 10-25, and we got swept by Detroit... This team doesn't look very good.

May 13, 2006 - No Offense at all, this team is looking pretty bad. Everyone in the Central is beating us up, this sucks!

May 12, 2006 - We're quickly nearing the 40 game mark, and the Indians are nearly out of the race for the AL Central. I feel like I want to puke.

May 10, 2006 - And now they're not even a .500 team. Sometimes being a Cleveland fan is a real kick in the butt!

May 9, 2006 - These guys are proving that they're really just a .500 team. This sucks.

May 8, 2006 - Well, almost... 3 runs, when you need 4? That's baseball. The Indians are going to have to play better than .500 if they want to win in October.

May 7, 2006 - On his 2nd start since coming of the DL, C.C.Sabathia pitched a masterpiece. Cleveland defeated Seattle 2-0. This is quite nice to see.

May 6, 2006 - Well, Cliff Lee pitched a decent game, but had no run support, and he took the loss. These guys better get moving...

May 5, 2006 - The Indians may have taken a while, but they did get their offense moving. Westbrook got the win, and we are still above .500, but We're also 4.5 games out.

May 4, 2006 - Wow, and now a huge loss. Well, such is baseball.

May 3, 2006 - Every time Paul Byrd starts, the Indians put up HUGE numbers. 11, 10, 15, and 14 runs on 4 of his starts. If they always provide him with this sort of run support, I hope he pitches every game for us.

May 2, 2006 - C.C.Sabathia made his return to the rotation, and won handily. It was refreshing to see us lay it to Chicago. C.C. gave everyone a scare when he had to clean the dirt from his cleats.

May 1, 2006 - What a heartbreaker. I'm so tired of seeing Chicago beat the Indians. Nonetheless, despite a grandslam by Hafner, they did just that. Cleveland has got to figure out how to beat Guillen!

April 30, 2006 - The Indians dropped one to Texas tonight, to finish the month of April 13-12. Let's hope they finish better for May. Bad sports night for Cleveland, the Cavs also lost their playoff game.

April 29, 2006 - Well, Hollandsworth lined into a double play to end the game, but it was a loss nonetheless. Tribe loses to Texas 5-7.

April 28, 2006 - What a game!?!? The lead changed a lot, but the Indians came out on top.

April 27, 2006 - Total domination!!! Ben Brousard came through big time. Paul Byrd posted another good start. Good deal. Now if we could just get C.C.Sabathia back.

April 26, 2006 - Fantastic!!! We got both pitching, and hitting for a game. Aaron Boone came up for us. Cliff Lee is doing well.

April 24, 2006 - Tough game. Next?

April 23, 2006 - No Offense. This is why the season is 162 games. Hopefully the remainder of them will be more successful.

April 22, 2006 - Horrible pitching!

April 21, 2006 - The Indians pulled off a tight win tonight. The bull pen tried to give away the game, but we still won.

April 20, 2006 - Fausto Carmona got absolutely rocked in this loss. Young pitchers though, sometimes give up big games learning their stuff.

April 19, 2006 - Well, we actually lost 2 pitchers in 1 inning. What a wild game. Horrible pitching led to an Orioles victory.

April 18, 2006 - Tonight they absolutely destroyed the Orioles. Jason Johnson pitched a very good game, carrying a shutout into the 8th inning. Go Tribe!

April 17, 2006 - The Indians clobbered the Tigers today, 10-2. Paul Byrd finally had a good game. We're going to need him to eat up innings this year.

April 16, 2006 - The Indians lost to the Tigers today on a 0-1 shutout. Cliff Lee pitched well, but no offense.

April 15, 2006 - The Indians defeated the Tigers today 7-2. Fausto Carmona had his MLB debut today, he pitched 6 innings, yielding only 1 run. Not bad for a debut. Hope he comes through for us. We may need him.

April 14, 2006 - Tonight the Indians lost again. No offense. I'm sure that won't last.

April 13, 2006 - The Indians' bullpen let them down tonight. Hopefully this isn't the way it goes the rest of the season.

April 12, 2006 - The Indians came up a couple of runs short tonight. They got the tying run on base in the 9th, but couldn't bring them home. 2nd loss of the year.

April 11, 2006 - And we start the next series with a win. That's 6 in a row, and the Indians are swinging for the fences. Lee pitched well. So far so good.

April 9, 2006 - A sweep!!! Hopefully the first of many for the season. The Indians took care of the Twins today 3-2. Nice start for the new season.

April 8, 2006 - A Shutout!!! 3-0 the Indians defeated the Twins behind the masterful Tribe debut of Jason Johnson. Pronk of course hit.

April 7, 2006 - The Indians played long ball today, and beat up the Twins 11-6. Casey Blake hit a grand slam, and Paul Byrd had a shaky start, but won nonetheless. What about a season can you really say on April 7?

April 5, 2006 - The Indians pitched out of multiple problems, with Danny Graves getting the win, and Bob Wickman the save. The Indians have now scored 1st in the game of 1 run ballgames.

April 5, 2006 - C.C. Sabathia will be out 3-5 weeks with a strained ab muscle. The Indians are expecting his return early in May.

April 4, 2006 - Aaron Boone was today's hero, as the Indians clobbered the White Sox 8-2. Jake Westbrook posted a solid game.

April 3, 2006 - Well, after a long rain delay, the first game of the season was played, and the Indians lost 10-4 to the defending World Champions the Chicago White Sox. Also, C.C.Sabathia left the game injured. Let's hope he's not out 6-8 weeks again.

March 31, 2006 - Just in time for the start of the regular season, Armstrong Cable has announced that the Indians' Sports Time Ohio channel will be on channel 4. If you live in Wooster, you can find it on channel 10.

March 26, 2006 - I haven't written anything for a while. The Tribe is winning a lot of games in spring training. Who knows what that means? Sports Time Ohio still hasn't settled with most of the cable companies in NE Ohio. You can find yours on Sports Time Ohio. Hope mine is on there soon.

March 5, 2006 - Kirby Puckett dies. Kirby Puckett was the star of the Twins championship teams of '87, and '91

March 5, 2006 - C.C.Sabathia decides to withdraw from the World Baseball Classic. He said he wasn't ready. My opinion is that this would have cost our team atleast 3 or 4 games during the season. I'm glad he chose not to pitch in it.
